​Harnie Kumaraguru, the daughter and disciple of the Kesavan Sisters, Smt. Suganthi Kesavan and Smt. Jeyanthi Kesavan established ‘Bharathaa Arts Adelaide’ with the same vision and passion as her Gurus. Harnie’s Gururs formed Bharathaa Arts in Singapore in 1995, with a very special vision for the Institute. While extensively teaching the complete theoretical and practical aspects of Bharathanatyam, the Kesavan sisters desire for their students to also be thoroughly exposed to various cultures, styles of teaching and performing, and to become dancers who are educated intellectually in form.

Harnie frequents Singapore and India for professional development, where she works intensively on technique, style and choreography.

Being such a dynamic dance institute, it is no wonder that Bharathaa Arts is noted for its excellence wherever it goes.
