Arangetram literally means "ascending the stage". It takes place after the student has completed the basic training in Bharatha Natyam, an Indian Classical Dance form. The student continues to pursue his/her study of dance after performing an Arangetram. This is only the beginning of the student’s in-depth journey in this graceful art form. The kesavan sisters have conducted over 3o arangetrams.
